Fitter. Happier. More Productive

This is the aim.

I could do with being healthier. More running, the mountains might inspire this. Eat better, learn to cook properly and make sure I'm eating what my body requires. Eat more, because even though I eat lots already I never seem to put on any weight and feel that I could do with being at least a stone heavier.

Read more. Especially through the recommendations of others. See the world through the tastes of my friends for a while.

Buy a new guitar. Don't let the enjoyment of that fade.

Keep music at the centre of everything. Be more like the girl that taught me to relate art to life on a regular basis. Expand my musical horizons by listening with the people that mean the most to me.

Watch the sun rise and fall with someone that means the world to me.

Let myself be open to what life has to offer. Let myself feel. Be vulnerable to her and trust completely. All in, see what happens.

Without question, pursue happiness.

Blog. Check.

A laudable aim and one I want to achieve as well.

Have you heard of the 'set-point' theory of weight gain in humans? It relates to the evidence that suggests our bodies are well equipped to balance energy intake and output to attain an "Energy equilibrium" - an optimum level of stored energy at which our body is comfortable. Google Dr Ethan Simms Vermont State prison for info about his weight gain experiments with prisoners! As long as you're getting a balanced diet and plenty of exercise!! By the way, Happy new year, Matt!!
